Eligibility...

~ Visiting Students~

Pullman Awards may be available to you
ONLY IF:

bullet

You are nominated directly to the Pullman Foundation by your high school guidance counselor, an approved community based organization (CBO), or the Illinois Education Foundation (IEF)

bullet

You are a resident of Cook County, IL; and

bullet

You demonstrate academic promise and financial need.

OR

bullet

You have a sibling or parent who has received a Pullman Award; and

bullet

You demonstrate academic promise and financial need.

If you think the second option applies to you, you will need to contact the Pullman Educational Foundation in writing to request confirmation of your eligibility and an application.  You must include the name of your family member and the year they received a Pullman Scholarship. Pullman Staff will then verify your status using the Foundation's historical records.  For more information, please read the Scholarship Application Policies.

If you are NOT nominated by one of the organizations listed above or your school, and you do NOT meet the above criteria, you are NOT eligible to apply. DO NOT CONTACT THE FOUNDATION FOR AN APPLICATION.  Please consult with your guidance counselor or college financial aid administrator about other financial aid options.  You may also want to visit our College Planning Center for more on how to search for financial aid.
