Careers The Pullman Foundation staff is a hardworking team, dedicated to the Foundation’s mission — enthusiastic and committed to helping students fulfill their dreams of earning a college degree.

The story of the Pullman Scholar Community

Since 1950, more than 14,000 Chicago-area students have earned a college degree with the help and support of the George M. Pullman Educational Foundation.

We know the challenges Chicago-area families face when sending a child to college and have dedicated the last 70+ years to providing merit-based, need-based, renewable college scholarships without bias towards race, religion, and gender.

Pullman Scholars come from the north side, west side, south side and suburbs. They are no strangers to adversity and conquer challenges head on. They represent the Chicago-area’s rich cultural diversity. Most importantly, they know that earning a college degree is the key to their success.

The Pullman Foundation offers excellent benefits to employees based on their role and tenure with the organization. Benefits include medical insurance and supplemental policies, a 403b retirement plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

We are committed to creating a diverse environment and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.
